s. We have started as a team of 3 and now we have grown up to 143 registered members. We support HIV affected children, orphans and the specially-abled. We now support 65 children in 4 different organizations in and around Hyderabad. We support them with food, education, health, clothing and other miscellaneous expenses worth around 60,000 Rupees every month.
We collect donations from friends and family members of all our members. Impressed with our work, communities like Singapore Telugu Mitrulu (Singapore based telugu people’s association) has been donating 400 Singapore Dollars (13000 Rupees) every month. We are trying to associate with more such organizations to expand our reach and also support as many as we can.
We have organized a fund raising event by name COLORS on October 31st 2009 and could raise 5 lakh rupees through sponsors and tickets. On March 27th 2010 we are planning another fund raising event by name SPANDANA. The funds raised through this event will be used for the construction of a hostel building for the underprivileged children. Funds would be raised through tickets and sponsors.

Sphoorti foundation is an orphanage, started by Mr.Srivyal houses 90 children - 45 boys and 45 girls in separate premises in the age group 4-12. We sponsor 12 kids at the home with their food, education and health aspects.

Charumathi which houses 40 children afflicted with HIV is located in Nalgonda district. It was started by Mr.S.Nagasena Reddy. ‘V’ Care supports Charumathi by providing them with food material every month (except rice and vegetables).

SPANDANA-towards the children in need is a fundraising event to be held on 27th of March 2010 in Hari Hara Kala Bhavan, Secunderabad. Professional dancers and singers would be performing at the event. Harinath
Reddy, winner of dance show “D” of Etv , Mahesh , a physically challenged dancer trained by ace choreographer Lawrence, Rashid , visually challenged folk singer from Maa tv’s rela re rela. Apart from these, there would be few moving performances by talented singers.
Objective of the event:
Fund raised from this event will be used for the construction of a hostel building for the under privileged children.
Previous Events:
We have organized a fund raising event on 31st of October, 2009 at HariHaraKalaBhavan by name ‘COLORS-shades of life’ and could collect 5 lakh rupees through tickets and sponsors. 1700 people attended the event, majority of them being employed youth and the rest being students and families. With the success of the COLORS event we are now expecting a crowd more than 2000.
Ways of raising funds:
Tickets: Tickets will be of three denominations, 100, 200 and 500. Each ticket bought is a contribution made. More tickets you buy – More is the donation made.

Through this event, we are committed to working with sponsors to help achieve our mutual goals. In this regard, your support in becoming a sponsor and promoting our event would be a great help to us in lending a helping hand to the children and also in making this event a tremendous success.
